Issa Ibrahim Zanayed went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 27, 1929 in Ramallah, Palestine to Ibrahim and Faddah Zanayed. Issa grew up in Ramallah and in 1955 married his devoted wife Kamra and they were blessed with 4 beautiful children. In 1957, they moved to Qatar to make a better life for his family. Issa Ibrahim Zanayed went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 27, 1929 in Ramallah, Palestine to Ibrahim and Faddah Zanayed. Issa grew up in Ramallah and in 1955 married his devoted wife Kamra and they were blessed with 4 beautiful children. In 1957, they moved to Qatar to make a better life for his family. Later, he immigrated to America in 1967 to be with his brothers in Chicago. In 1971, he decided to move to Houston to raise his family. Issa loved his wife, children, extended family, and the entire Ramallah community with all his heart. He loved deeply and was loved in return. He is now reunited with his parents and two brothers, Khalil and Elias, and sister-in-law Hanna Khalil, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Kamra; children Lubna (George), Buthaina, Ziad (Taghreed), and Silvia (Nadir); siblings Sami (Yusra), Salameh (Nadia), Zarifeh (Issa Diab), and Fadlallah (Rima); sister-in-law Huda Elias; grandchildren Ibrahim George (Shadia), Emily (Nader), Bishara, Issa, Ibrahim, Julianna, Tarik, and Hana; great-grandchildren Amal, Lillian, and Jeries; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. We will celebrate his entrance into the eternal life on Sunday, September 17th from 5:00-7:00 PM at St. George Orthodox Christian Church, followed by Trisagion Prayers at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be Monday, September 18th at 10:00 AM at St. George Orthodox Christian Church, followed by Interment at Forest Park Lawndale (6900 Lawndale, Houston, TX 77023).
