Denise Hall Pitts, a native and true Texan, died Tuesday the 19th of December at Pearland Memorial Hospital. She passed peacefully with her sisters by her side.

Denise was born and spent most of her life in Houston. However, she moved to Alvin 20 years ago and has loved her community. Denise received her Bachelor's Degree in Art History. She expressed her artistic side in many ways. She loved to cross-stitch, needlepoint, knit, sew, cook, and paint. Denise made her career about service. She worked as a social worker for Harris County, the state...

Denise Hall Pitts, a native and true Texan, died Tuesday the 19th of December at Pearland Memorial Hospital. She passed peacefully with her sisters by her side.

Denise was born and spent most of her life in Houston. However, she moved to Alvin 20 years ago and has loved her community. Denise received her Bachelor's Degree in Art History. She expressed her artistic side in many ways. She loved to cross-stitch, needlepoint, knit, sew, cook, and paint. Denise made her career about service. She worked as a social worker for Harris County, the state of Texas, and in public schools. Everyone that knew her would talk about her big heart and love of a good conversation.

She is survived by her sister Krista Paul and husband Arthur Paul, sister Gwyndolyn Savens and nieces Maggie and Maevelyn, sister Katie Rodgers, and sister Glencora Rodgers and husband Steve Rodgers and their children, Will and Lyvia.
